Blessed Carlo Acutis
Blessed Carlo Acutis was born in London on May 3rd 1991 and died of promyelocytic leukaemia on October 12th 2006 at just 15 years old. As a millennial teenager he saw the potential of using modern computer technology to promote his love of the Holy Eucharist, Eucharistic miracles and Jesus through his websites. He has been dubbed God’s influencer and is attributed with bringing the youth to Christ.
He will be canonised on the 27th of April by Pope Francis at the Jubilee of the Youth. This is the day we also celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday.
